Talented transfer from University of Memphis . . . contributed right away to the cross-country program in 2002 . . . enjoyed a solid first season in track, establishing himself as one of Samford's strongest distance runners.

2003-04(Junior) Cross Country:
Named OVC Athlete of the Week after finishing 38th out of 263 runners at the 10K Chili Pepper Invitational with a time of 30:53...Finished 20th at the OVC Championships with a time of 26:49 in the 8K race...Finished 70th at the NCAA Regionals with a time of 32:36 in the 10K race...Season-high in the 8K came at the Cardinal Classic with a time of 26:14...Finished 18th at the Crimson Classic with a time of 26:31.

2002-03 (Sophomore): Cross-Country:
Was third on the team at the NCAA South Regional with a 10K time of 33:53.34 . . . finished 20th at the A-Sun Championships with a time of 27:14.44 . . . ran a personal-best at the Auburn Invitational Oct. 19, posting 25:34.04 in the 8,000 meters.
Track: Finished third of 17 runners in the 10,000 meters at the Alabama Relays, running 31:44.49 . . . finished third at the Samford Twilight in the 3,000 meters with 8:51.80 . . . finished third in the 5,000 meters at the Auburn Invitational with 15:25.77.

High School:
All-State in cross-country in 2001 . . . made Best of the Preps twice in cross-country and once in track . . . in track, he was the Shelby County Champion, regional runner-up, AAA meet champion and third place in the state in the two-mile . . . member of the Houston HS Tennessee state champions in track and field.
