2007 (Freshman): Made an immediate impact as a true freshman...was one of the top five runners for the Samford men...finished 14th at the Samford Invitational and 31st in the OVC Championship.

High School:Won the Georgia state high school meet in the 800-meter race and the 3200-meter race as a senior.
