2008 SoCon Fall Academic All-Conference Team 2008 (Sophomore): Carried over success from his freshman year into his sophomore year...improved throughout the season and posted best performances toward the end of 2008...became one of Samford top five runners after a slow start in the first two meets...finished 22nd overall and fifth for Samford at the Furman Invitational (Oct. 11) where the Bulldog men finished second overall...placed 28th overall and third on the team at the SoCon Championship (Nov. 1). 2007 (Freshman): Made an immediate impact as a true freshman...was one of the top five runners for the Samford men...finished 14th at the Samford Invitational and 31st in the OVC Championship. High School:Won the Georgia state high school meet in the 800-meter race and the 3200-meter race as a senior. |
