With just four events remaining in the outdoor track and field season, the Samford Track and Field Team hosts the Samford Twilight meet on Sat., April 27, at Seibert Stadium. Field events begin at 3 p.m. and running events start at 6 p.m.

It has been a record-breaking year for the Bulldogs, as members of the men's and women's teams have broken 22 school records and set one conference mark this season.

Nine of the new school bests came last weekend at the 2002 Atlantic Sun Championships, along with sophomore Chad Johnson's new conference time of 9:21.60 in the 3000 meter steeplechase. Additionally, 14 of the 22 records have been broken by freshmen and only three by a senior.

Following are the school records that have fallen this season, along with a recap of how the Bulldogs fared individually last weekend at the A-Sun Championships.
