BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford men's and women's track and field teams will host the Samford Twilight Saturday afternoon and evening at Seibert Stadium. The meet will feature athletes from 13 teams including Auburn, Alabama, UAB and Birmingham-Southern.

"This is going to be a nice event for us," Head coach Glenn McWaters said. "This will be our final preparation before the Ohio Valley Conference meet. We will use this meet to rest some people that have been hurt, and to improve some times for others."

Events start at 2:00 and run all the way until 8:45 p.m. that night.

Joining Samford in the event are: Alabama-Huntsville, Wallace State, Clayton College, Kennesaw State, Alabama A&M, Jacksonville State, West Georgia, Birmingham-Southern, Bevil State, UAB (women), Alabama and Auburn.
