BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Selected members of the Samford University track and field team will compete at the Texas Relays, hosted by the University of Texas in Austin, Tex. Competition is set for Thursday-Saturday, April 7-9.

Competing for the Bulldogs, Michael Smith will perform the 400m hurdles, while Lauren Blankenship and Britney Almaguer will compete in the 5000m run. Blankenship, Almaguer, Robyn DeBenedet and Mary Nunnally will also run in the women's distance medley.
