TROY, Ala. - The Samford track and field team will travel to Troy, Ala. on Saturday, April 3, for the Troy State Invitational at the Jesse H. Colley Track.

Schools competing in the meet are Auburn, Southern Mississippi, University of New Orleans, UAB, Alabama A & M, Samford, Fort Valley State, Bevill State, Birmingham Southern, Florida A & M, Jacksonville State, Troy State, Xavier (New Orleans) and Wallace State.

The last time that the Bulldogs hit the track they shattered four school records and pole vaulter Trent Schmidt qualified for the NCAA Regionals.

Competition will begin at 11 a.m. at the Jesse H. Colley Track on the campus of Troy State University.
