BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The Samford track and field team heads to Tuscaloosa, Ala., tomorrow to participate in the annual Alabama Relays event hosted by the University of Alabama. The three day event will be held at the Sam Bailey Track and Field Complex on the Alabama campus.

The first day of competition begins Friday with the women's 110-meter hurdles and the first part of the men's decathlon and the women's heptathlon at 9:30 a.m., and concludes with the second part of those two competitions. The rest of the events will take place on Saturday and Sunday.

A total of 65 teams will be participating in the three-day event. A full recap will be available on www.samfordsports.com.
