BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford University men's golf team will be in South Carolina this weekend as they take part in the Furman Invitational. This is the fourth tournament for the Bulldogs this spring, and they hope to fair well in the three day event.

The Bulldogs come off a tough outing at the Jacksonville State Grub Mart - Young Oil Intercollegiate this past Monday and Tuesday. The Samford men placed 11th, but could not land any golfers in the top 20 as they have in previous tournaments.

The Furman Invitational will take place March 23 - 25. The teams will play 18 holes each day and play will wrap up on Sunday. A full recap of each day's action will be posted on www.samfordsports.com.
