NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Samford sophomore Jennifer Craig was named Ohio Valley Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week by the league office Wednesday morning. Craig broke four school records last weekend at the Rod McCravy Memorial Meet.

The Hoover, Ala. native set the school record twice in the 60 meters, once in the prelims and again in the finals with a second place time of 7.58. Craig also finished second in the 200 meters with a school-record and the best time in the OVC so far this year, 24.59. She also ran the first leg of the 4x400 relay which finished second and set a school-record time of 3:59.98.

Craig and the Bulldogs will run again at the Clemson Invitational on February 14 in Clemson, SC. before the OVC Championships on February 27-28.
