ATLANTA, Ga. - Samford's April Howell competed in the triple jump on the final day of the Georgia Tech Invitational on Saturday.

Howell came in 27th overall in the triple jump with a distance of 38-02.00. The meet is a last chance meet for athletes to qualify for the NCAA Regional meet.
