ATHENS, Ga. - Several members of Samford's track and field team performed well at the eighth annual Georgia Invitational, led by David Henson's sixth-place finish in the 400 meter intermediate hurdles.

Most of the events in which Samford athletes placed were in men's action, but Katie Flewellyn finished 13th in the women's 1500 meters. Three other Bulldogs finished with Top 10 efforts, including Josh Caldwell's eighth place marks in the shot put and discus throw and Clay DeMore's No. 8 in the 3,000m steeplechase.
