AUSTIN, Texas ---- Samford University distance runner Robyn DeBenedet turned in a solid performance at the 79th annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on Saturday, at the Mike A. Myers Track in Austin, Texas.

DeBenedet finished 10th in the "A" section of the women's 1500-meter run, with a time of 4:39.86. The sophomore was the only Bulldog competing on the final day of competition at the 79th annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, which featured over 3,800 high school, collegiate and professional athletes.

The Samford University track and field team returns to action on Saturday, April 15, when the Bulldogs head to Starkville, Miss., for the Jace Lacoste Invitational, hosted by Mississippi State University.
