2006-07 (Junior): Took fourth place in the first indoor meet of the season at the Saluki Booster Invitational (Jan. 19-20) in the 60-meter hurdles (8.42)...competed as a member of the 4x400-meter and distance medley relay teams...placed fourth and set a new school record in the 400-meter dash at the OVC Indoor Championships (Feb. 22-24) with a time of 49.91...also took eighth place in the 60-meter hurdles (8.82)...finished first in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 53.59 and fifth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.02 at he Troy Invitational (Mar. 31)...turned in his best performance of the season at the OVC Outdoor Championships...took second place and earn all-OVC honors in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.02 and ran the fastest time in the preliminaries of that event...earned all-OVC honors and a qualifying spot at the NCAA Regional while taking second place in the 400-meter hurdles.

2005-06 (Sophomore): In the indoor season, recorded a personal best performance of 8:34 in the 60-meter high hurdles at the Rod McCravy Invitational...also set a school record in the 400-meters of 50.12 at the same meet...posted a season best 23.03 in the 200-meters at the Clemson Invitational and had a personal best of 7.72 in the 55-meter hurdles taking third place getting All-OVC Indoor honors...also a member of the distance medley and 4x400 relay...in the outdoor season, ran a season best 49.49 in the 400-meters at the FSU Snowbird Invitational...charted season best 15.09 in the 110-meter hurdles to finish third in the OVC Outdoor Championships...also finished second in the 400-meter hurdles and anchored the Samford 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams at the same meet...in the Georgia Tech Invitational, set a school record and mid-east regional qualifying time of 51.53 in the 400-meter hurdles.

2004-05 (Freshman): Ran a season best 8.41 in the 60-meter high hurdles at the Clemson Invitational... also posted a season best 50.45 in the 400-meters at the OVC Indoor Championships, finishing sixth...finished third in the 60-meter high hurdles at the same meet...in the outdoor season, had a season best 22.36 in the 200-meters at the Samford Invitational where he also jumped a personal best of 22'2" in the long jump...at the OVC Outdoor Championships, recorded a personal best of 14.93 in 110-meter high hurdles...ran a season best and mid-east regional qualifying time of 51.90 in the 400-meter hurdles to finish second.

Personal: Son of Mike Smith and Rose Shannon...majoring in sociology...holds Flower Mound High School records in the 300-meter hurdles (37.48), 110-meter hurdles (13:78), the long jump, 4x400, 800-meter dash, and the 4x200...his team came in second place at the Junior Olympics in the 4x400-meter relay...was a four-time regional qualifier in the 110-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles...named Flower Mound High School's most valuable athlete.
