2006-07 (Sophomore): Red-shirted the indoor season...set a new personal best in his first outdoor meet at the Southern Miss Invitational (Mar. 10) in the men's mile with a time of 4:02.09...took seventh place with a personal-best 9:02.78 in the 3000-meters at the Troy Invitational (Mar. 31)...turned in his best outdoor performance of the year at the JSU Gem of the Hills (Apr. 7), taking fourth in the 3000-meter steeplechase (10:10.86) and ninth in the mile (4:14.50)...set a new personal record in the 5K at the OVC Outdoor Championships with a time of 16:46.26 to finish in 12th place.

Personal:Son of Gene and Mary Schwartz...majoring in psychology...was a district champ in the 1600-m and 3200-m in high school...hold a Keller High School record for the 3-mile run with a time of 14:58...high school teammate of fellow Bulldog Michael Hanson...was a Distinguish Achievement Graduate at Keller High School, as well as an AP National Scholar...cousin, Brook Polansky played softball at UT-San Antonio.
