2006-07 OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll

2006-07 (Freshman): Competed in the 800-meters, the mile and the 1600-meter leg of the distance medley relay during the indoor season...finished sixth in the mile at the Saluki Booster Invitational (Jan. 19-20) and set a new personal record in the 800-meters at the Niswonger Invitational (Jan. 26-27) with a time of 1:57.80...placed third in the mile at the Clemson Tiger Invitational (Feb. 9-10) in the mile (4:20.77)...set a new personal record in the mile at the OVC Indoor Championships, taking fourth with a time of 4:19.70...in the outdoor season, he won the 3000-meters at the Troy Invitational with a personal best time of 8:44.44...took third in the mile (4:04.88) at the JSU Gem of the Hills (Apr. 7)...set a new personal record in the steeplechase with a time of 9:36.50 at the Vanderbilt Invitational (Apr. 20-21)...earned all-OVC honors in the steeplechase at the OVC Outdoor Championships (May 4-5) with a third place time of 9:41.46 while taking fifth in the mile with a personal best time of 3:54.73.

High school: Ran an impressive 4:15 in the 1600-meters at the Illinois State Championships...named all-state in the 1600-meters and all-conference in the 800-, 1600-, and 3200-meters...Academic all-conference...also played basketball.

Personal: Son of Gail Dunham and Dan Carie...father played basketball at Illinois College...major is biology/pre-med...born July 2, 1987.
