2006-07 OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll

2007-08 (Senior): Indoor: Ran a season-best 5:18.54 in the mile at the Southern Illinois McDonald's Invitational. Outdoor: Earned ninth place in the 1500-meters at the Alabama Relays (March 26-30) with a time of 4:44.88...set a new personal best in the mile at the UGA Bulldog Limited (5:06.45), earning her first place in the event...took fifth in the 1500-meters at the OVC Outdoor Championships (May 2-3) with a season-best time of 4:43.39.

2006-07 (Junior): Indoor: Finished third in the 3000-meters at the Saluki Invitational (Jan. 19-20) with a time of 10:42.23...also finished eighth in the 3000-meters at the OVC Indoor Championships with a time of 10:35.60...Outdoor: Took second place in the 3000-meters at the Troy Invitational (Mar. 31) and sixth place in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the JSU Gem of the Hills Meet (Apr. 7)...placed 12th in the women's mile at the OVC Outdoor Championships.

2005-06 (Sophomore): Ran 10:23.49 in the 3000-meters at the Rod McCravy Invitational before being red-shirted for the rest of the season due to injury.

2004-05 (Freshman): Recorded a personal best of 10:11.29 in the 3000-meters event at the Clemson Invitational...also ran a personal best of 17:54 in the 5K to finish first at the OVC Indoor Championships...in addition, finished second in the 3000-meters at the OVC Indoor Championships with at time of 10:12...also was a part of the distance medley relay...in the outdoor season, posted 5:02 in the mile at the Samford Invitational...ran as part of the school record-setting distance medley relay team at the Texas Relays...turned in a personal best in the 5K with a time of 17:58 to finish second at the OVC Outdoor Championships...in addition, ran a season best 4:39 in the 1500-meters at the same event.

High School: 2004 State Champion in 3200-meters event.

Personal: Daughter of Rick and Debbie Almaguer...majoring in Journalism and Mass Communications...born June 20, 1986.
