Ellen Rehme is in the midst of her first season as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Samford University. She serves as the primary strength and conditioning coach for volleyball and other assigned sports.

"We feel extremely blessed to have an individual the caliber of Ellen on our staff," said head strength and conditioning coach Tommy Rohling. "She is an extremely knowledgeable and motivated individual who will be able to step right in and make an immediate difference in the physical development of our student-athletes"

Rehme came to Samford after spending 2006 as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Texas Christian University (TCU). Prior to her stint at TCU, Rehme was a professional volleyball player in the spring of 2006.

She also served as a student assistant volleyball coach at TCU in the fall of 2005, and was an instructor at various volleyball camps from 2001 to 2006.

Rehme is a 2005 graduate of TCU and she also earned her Master's from the institution in 2007. Rehme played college volleyball at the University of Florida (2001-02) and TCU (2003-04).
