BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford Sports Weekly radio show will air tonight from 5 to 6 p.m., on WVSU-FM 91.1, or worldwide on the internet at www.samford.edu/wvsu.

The show, which is hosted by Samford's Director of Multimedia Services Mike Grace, airs every Wednesday throughout the year.

This week's show will feature interviews with Head Football Coach Pat Sullivan and senior offensive lineman Jon Weber. Ryan Chambers from the Georgia Southern Radio Network will join the broadcast to preview the Eagles.

The show will also feature a preview of the upcoming Southern Conference Soccer Tournament and volleyball's two home matches that are scheduled for this weekend.

As an added feature, the show will open with the 2009 SoCon Champion women's cross country team in studio. Head Coach Rod Tiffin will also join the broadcast via telephone to talk about his team's exciting win.

The "Helping Hands" segment, which spotlights a Samford University support staff member, will feature David Goodwin, director of alumni and parent programs. Goodwin will appear on the show to talk about this weekend's Homecoming schedule.

The show will also be re-played on Saturday at 11 a.m. on WVSU.
