Aug. 12, 2008 BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Due to rain in the Birmingham area, the Southern Conference FanFest will now be held in the Pete Hanna Center. The event is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. The free event, which is open to the public, will feature music, food, beverages and contests, and it will be held in the Pete Hanna Center on the Samford campus. The conference will also have prize giveaways, including hotel rooms and two tickets to the Football Championship Subdivision championship game in Chattanooga, as well as the SoCon's basketball and baseball championships. |
